An address change already in effect
USCIS’s Form I-907 page says it changed mailing locations on October 7, 2026. This is an existing filing change being explained on October 16—not a new rule announced today. People preparing a Request for Premium Processing Service should check the current destination before printing a shipping label.
The agency’s alert says forms sent to prior locations will be accepted when postmarked on or before November 9, 2026. Use that stated calendar date rather than calculating your own cutoff from the notice’s description of a grace period. The address allowance is not an extension of a petition deadline or permission to use an otherwise unacceptable filing.
A pending I-140 upgrade needs its own address check
USCIS repeats the October 7 change on its direct-filing-address page for Form I-140. It specifically directs people mailing an I-907 to upgrade a pending I-140 to the appropriate expandable address section for their reason for filing. A previously successful shipping label is therefore not reliable evidence of today’s destination.
Start with the underlying form and whether it is already pending. Then follow the official address instructions for that exact request and mailing method. Do not substitute the address from another applicant’s receipt or assume that every premium-processing package goes to one national location.
Premium processing is a separate service request
Form I-907 is available only for specified petitions and applications. Paying for it does not establish eligibility for the underlying benefit. USCIS describes a clock that starts with a properly completed request received at the correct filing address, including the required information, signature and correct fee.
The form itself describes a commitment to take a qualifying case action, not a promise of approval. An evidence request or other qualifying action can be different from the final outcome an applicant hopes for. Keep the receipt, later notices and any response deadline together.
A five-minute dispatch check
- Open the official I-907 page again on dispatch day; select the route that matches the underlying request.
- Verify the accepted form edition and category-specific fee on USCIS’s live form and fee pages. This article intentionally supplies neither a universal fee nor a universal street address.
- Compare the destination on the label with the correct postal-service or courier instructions.
- Save a dated copy of the instructions you used, the completed filing and evidence of postmark and delivery.
- If a package was already sent to an old location, preserve the actual mailing record and review the November 9 language; do not create a duplicate filing without checking the case.
Source status and limits
Official USCIS indexed notices checked October 16 confirm the October 7 change and November 9 postmark cutoff. Direct page retrieval was restricted during this review, so we have not reproduced unverified address rows, fee amounts or edition dates. Follow the linked live instructions for those filing-specific details. This is general educational information, not legal advice or a guarantee of acceptance.
